This wine begins with aromas of pomegranite, cranberry and dark cherry. Refreshing blue toned color, bright cherry and pomegranite flavors with hints of wood and graphite. Perfect with spicy foods and tomato sauces.

2004 Vintage won Gold in the 2007 San Francisco Chronicle competition, and this vintage won double gold at the Lodi Internetional Competition.

2005 Old Vine Zinfandel
Pescador Vineyard, Mokelumne AVA
From vines planted in 1937, our renoened Pescador Vineyard, comes this fruit forward, smooth wine. The aromas of cherry, violets, and a slight edge of berry cobbler, meld into flavors of dark cherry and blueberry, soft tannins with berry and spice in the finish.

With a beginning aroma of candied cherries and cassis leading to flavors of dark cherry and cassis, with a hint of white pepper. Medium bodied and soft tannin wine with a smooth finish.

With a first look at its color of dark garnet, it indicates intensity! The scents of cassis, black cherry and pepper, lead to robust black cassis and blackberry flavors with thoughts of soy, cola and plum. Our wine-maker juggled this massive fruit with acidity to complete the balancing act of strength and elegance. Moderate to chewy tannins.

2005 Malbec

Layers of blueberries, tobacco and plums in the nose, on to flavors of cassias and fresh black cherries with hints of pepper. This wine is a complex Bordeaux with a smooth feel to the finish. Enjoy with a grilled New York steak, or a hearty winter stew.

Aromas of blueberries and violets with toasty notes of oak. Velvety tannins with big blueberry in the mid-palate and a lingering berry/cocoa finish. Smooth and easy!
